Stamptd ("we," "us," or "our") operates stamptd.com and the Stamptd iOS app. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it's handled.
Account & login. Stamptd uses passwordless login: you provide your email address, and we send a one-time code to verify it. We don't ask for or store a password. We store your email address to identify your account and manage your subscription.
Billing. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. Stamptd does not directly receive or store your full card number -- Stripe handles that. We retain your subscription status and a reference to your Stripe customer record so we know your account is active.
Support requests. If you contact us through the support form or by email, we retain your name, email, and message to respond to you.
When you log in, we log your IP address, device/browser type, and the time of the request. This is used for account security -- detecting suspicious login activity -- not for advertising or marketing profiling.
Stamptd's core product displays construction permit information -- including property addresses, project details, and the names and contact information of property owners and contractors -- sourced from publicly available government permitting records in the counties and states we cover. This information is not collected from you, and the property owners and contractors named in these records are not Stamptd users. We aggregate and display this public record data as the service's core function. If you are a property owner or contractor who believes information about you is inaccurate, you can contact us using the details below.
We use the information above to: provide and maintain your account and subscription; send login codes and service-related emails; respond to support requests; detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized account access; and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We rely on the following third parties to operate Stamptd, each of which processes data on our behalf under their own privacy and security practices:
The Stamptd website uses a session cookie to keep you logged in between page visits. The iOS app stores your login token securely on your device using Apple's Keychain, not a cookie. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
We retain account information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time (see below).
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. To make a request, contact us at the email below -- we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Stamptd is a business tool intended for licensed contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Stamptd after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
